Matthew Amira was born and raised in New York City. And despite this incredible child headshot, no - he was not a child star. He grew up in Manhattan, where he attended LaGuardia H.S. as an acting major. From there, he earned a degree from the nation’s first program to offer a Musical Theatre bachelors, the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Recognized as a top baritone talent in the industry, Matthew has established a diverse career in long running musicals as well as originating new roles.
